About Fitzroy River And Coastal Catchments Inc in Rockhampton City
Fitzroy River and Coastal Catchments (FRCC) is a non profit community based Natural Resource Management group based at 14 Wandal Road, Rockhampton QLD. FRCC receives funding from the Fitzroy Basin Association to implement sustainable land management practices within the catchments of the Fitzroy and Coastal Catchments of the Broadsound and Yeppoon regions. Management Area FRCC Management Committee FRCC is governed by a Management Committee who provide the strategic direction for the organisation.
The Committee meet6 times a year and are also responsible for project assessment and approvals. The Committee consists of up to 11 people with particular areas of interest including grazing, Landcare, weeds, cultural heritage, local government, business, industry, water, conservation, fishing and horticulture.
The FRCC Management Committee is structured such that: Eight (8) Members are elected by the membership (Elected members) #Up to three (3) people are selected by the Committee to fill gaps in knowledge or sector representation (Special Members).
